Perry Point VAMC
Inflow and Infiltration Study
Perry Point VAMC
Perry Point, MD
(2023)
Honor performed as the prime contractor responsible for the coordination and administration of a professional architectural and engineering (A/E) site survey study to complete a thorough review of the locations and causes of water inflow and infiltration (I&I) into the campus sanitary sewer system and investigate cross-connections between the sanitary sewer and stormwater systems at the Perry Point VA Medical Campus. The total site area encompasses approximately 365 acres, with roughly 2 miles of shoreline on the Chesapeake Bay. Honor’s team deployed a combination of investigation methodologies i.e., wet weather observations, flow monitoring, ground penetrating radar (GPR), CCTV, smoke, and dye testing, etc. in order to compile a final analysis.
