Founded in 2002, Honor Engineer Company began as a small local surveying firm in Hershey, PA. Over time, we’ve grown into a well-rounded civil engineering and geospatial firm, bringing together licensed professionals, engineers-in-training, technicians, and support staff who know how to deliver in the real world. A majority of the firm was acquired by Douglas Allwein, PE, PLS in 2018 and secured certification as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business. We rebranded as Honor Engineer Company in 2020 to reflect our commitment to honesty, accountability, and above all else, our commitment to serving to veterans. Today, with locations in Harrisburg and Pittsburgh, we support federal, state, and local clients across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, with the capability to work nationwide. No matter the project or client, we approach every assignment with the same mindset: do the work right, stand behind it, and earn trust through performance.

Gather with Honor is a 501(c)(19) veterans organization dedicated to reuniting veterans with the brothers and sisters they served alongside. By funding airfare, lodging, and hosted events across the country, Gather with Honor removes the barriers that keep veterans apart and brings battle buddies back together. These reunions remind veterans that they are not alone, and that the people who stood beside them in uniform are still walking the same path. The shared experience, camaraderie, and connection fostered through these gatherings support mental well-being, strengthen lifelong bonds, and, sometimes, simply bring much-needed laughter and smiles as old stories are shared and memories are relived.
