Honor Engineer Co. served as prime consultant and was responsible for designing a 10,000 SF expansion to the fire station’s existing training grounds and equipment yard; performed stormwater analysis; designed parking lot extension; designed a retrofit for an existing basin to meet MS4 requirements; designed erosion & sediment control; and provided site survey and underground subsurface utility engineering (SUE).  Obtained stormwater data from previous design to analyze and update the fire station’s existing stormwater management facilities. Redesigned basin to accommodate existing impervious area as well as the additional impervious area from new training area to maximize the potential MS4 sediment reduction credits.  Estimated credits using conforming methods to satisfy the Chesapeake Bay Program Office.
