Buffalo VAMC

Buffalo, NY

(ongoing)

Our team is working on a comprehensive survey of the critical utilities infrastructure at the Buffalo VAMC Campus. This project includes conducting a boundary retracement survey, meeting all positional standards and recording requirements. Utilizing Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) methodologies, we are to identify and map water, gas, electric, communications, sanitary sewer, and stormwater utilities across the campus. High-accuracy mapping has been achieved using Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) technologies, supplemented by traditional survey methods when needed. All collected data will be processed and verified through Trimble Business Center (TBC) software. Detailed field sketches include utility features such as manholes, inlets, and valves, which were marked for precise documentation. Visual inspections are being conducted on stormwater and sanitary sewer systems to gather critical attribute data, including elevations, pipe size, and material. The deliverables were developed using AutoCAD Civil 3D, in full compliance with VA standards.
